Welcome to the introductory page of the Circle of the Divine Ophite. I was guided to form this group from a vision I experienced while in a state between being awake and slowly separating from my body to enter the astral realm. A serpentine being with a gold shimmering Aura communicated with me without speech. It spoke directly to my heart chakra with such force that it made my entire being shudder. I have had a strong connection to serpent power for most of my life, and have often experienced communications from snakes and dragons through dreams and during meditations but this time was different. This was not a warning but a statement of presence and command for attention. There are valuable lessons to be learned at this time, and many of us are being called to connect with our own serpent lineage in order to access dormant energy, wisdom and strength. The "Ophites", or recipients of snake wisdom have a long tradition in both eastern and western philosophical traditions, and this circle is intended as a tool of connection and study for continuing those traditions. Any snake wisdom from any source is encouraged, and all are welcome to explore and question.
